How many people actually use their own newsletters?
Since I have often asked myself this question, I started a small survey here on selbstaendig-im-netz.de a while ago their own newsletter.
I asked the readers of my blog whether they offer an email newsletter or at least plan to do so. Or whether they have perhaps already discontinued it.
Almost 200 readers took part in the survey, which should ensure fairly reliable results their own newsletter.

Do you offer a newsletter on your blog/website?
More than half of the participants algeria phone number data said that they offer their own newsletter. That is a very high number that I did not expect. But it shows that newsletters are still widely used today.
A further 35% of participants are planning their own newsletter. The advantages are certainly already known, but the implementation is still a problem. A certain amount of effort and good planning is necessary to achieve success.
Only 11% have no plans to do so, which is an astonishingly low number in my eyes. Despite the social media age, good old email is still very popular.
3% of the survey participants had used a newsletter at some point, but then put it on ice. I can only speculate about the reasons, but the small number shows that newsletter marketing is worthwhile in many cases.
All in all, I think the survey results are very clear. Newsletters continue to be an important marketing tool for the self-employed.
What I will focus on in the future
I run several newsletters myself , each of which has when to boost a facebook post between 1,000 and 5,000 subscribers. That’s not a lot compared to other lists, but they are well-maintained groups. Unfortunately, I don’t get around to sending newsletters as regularly as I would like. Ultimately, the quality has to be right and real added value has to be offered.
